Afghanistan is facing numerous challenges in its development eforts. The past three decades of war has ruined the basic infrastructure of the country. Currently there are reconstruction efforts underway on power and energy, water and wastewater, mining, dams and hydro power plants, urban infrastructures, military facilities and airports to name a few and or are planned to be performed in the near future. The role of geotechnical science in this front seems significant in terms of implementation and quality control of projects on the mentioned arenas. I can proudly announce that Omran Geo Technics Co (OGC) and Omran Mining and Geo Technic Company (OMG) are the leader of geotechnics in the country and holds certificates from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Transatlantic District North and ISO Certificate 9001:2008. Our engineers hold the highest level of education in geotechnics and related fields of engineering and are capable of utilizing high-tech equipment in core drilling, sampling, lab testing, mining lab testing and analysis. We offer a wide range of geotechnical services to private and government sectors. “Quality, Proficiency, Commitment and Innovation” is our motto.
